El 24 de octubre del 2012 marca un día muy importante en mi vida; fue el día que decidí regresar a Nicaragua, después de grandes dificultades pero sobretodo de un valioso reencuentro con mi pasado.
La Comunidad Planificada de Julio Velásquez alberga y brinda refugio desde octubre del 2019 a 160 familias. Para brindar un mejor desarrollo en la comunidad y moderar la demanda médica del centro de salud en Somoto, en agosto de este año se finalizó la construcción de un centro de salud dentro de esta misma comunidad.
