ANF takes a holistic approach to poverty alleviation by working across the relief-development spectrum in the areas of humanitarian aid, housing, health and nutrition, education, agriculture, water and sanitation. Engaging with dynamic and integrated solutions to combat the complex and multifaceted levels of poverty.
HOW WE DO IT
ANF’s work is built on a partnership model.
We rely on a distribution network of more than 150 local partner organizations throughout Nicaragua, including municipal governments, governmental entities, schools, clinics, orphanages, feeding centers, religious organizations, elderly homes, and community-based organizations. Our partners are essential to our mission as they allow ANF to reach Nicaragua’s poorest communities, having a significant impact on thousands of families.
Our work is considered essential in Nicaragua. Through ANF’s programs, thousands of lives are transformed each year by providing families with a dignified home, enhancing educational quality, promoting healthy lifestyles, delivering emergency aid packages, supplying access to safe drinking water and aiming at sustainable agroecological practices to achieve food security.
